چکیده
Wet washing is the most common method for biodiesel purification, but higher water consumption, longer purification time, and high expenses bring limitations on use of this process. One suitable methods to remove such new techniques purification. In study, was evaluated in a novel continuous centrifugal contactor separator (CCCS) at 0.5:1, 1:1, 1.5:1 (V/V%)water ratio; 10 Hz, 20 30 Hz device working frequency; 25 °C, 40 55 °C temperatures. A mathematical model wet-washing process energy consumption CCCS using response surface proposed. 0.8:1 (V/V%) ratio, frequency, 35 temperature were found be optimal conditions experiment. At point, yield amount reported 96% 17 kJ, respectively. The results showed that compared traditional wet method, cost-effective consumes more than 75% less water.

Fatty acid butyl esters were synthesized from sunflower oil with 1-butanol using a homogeneous Rhizomucor miehei lipase in a biphasic organic (triglyceride, 1-butanol, hexane)- water (with enzyme) system in a continuous setup consisting of a cascade of a stirred tank reactor and a continuous centrifugal contactor separator (CCCS), the latter being used for integrated reaction and liquid-liquid ...
متن کاملBio-Stoning of Denim- An Environmental-Friendly Approach
Denim jeans, dyed with natural or synthetic indigo, are the most popular garments worn by individuals of all ages and approximately one billion pairs of jeans are produced per annum. Traditionally, denim has been woven with cotton in a warp face twill weave, in which the warp is blue whereas the weft is white. Dyeing is usually performed with pure indigo, or indigo combined with a sulfur dye to...

متن کاملBiodiesel: A Cost-effective Fuel Using Waste Materials
The main disadvantage of biodiesel is its high price. The price of biodiesel depends on various factors such as the price of oil, methanol, catalyst, and labor. Among dif-ferent economic factors, oil accounts for the largest share of input costs of biodiesel production. In this study, first, suitable heterogeneous catalysts were identified for biodiesel production. Several studies were carried ...
